SUNDAY SCHOOL MINISTRY
The Department of Christian Education provides educational opportunities to reach persons of all ages and stages in life through our departmentalized Sunday School. The nine adult classes offer students an opportunity to study the Word of God in an atmosphere that ranges from traditional to progressive class settings.

CHURCH TRAINING UNION MINISTRY
The purpose of the Church Training Union Ministry is twofold:
(1) to equip God's people with the necessary training that will allow them to develop their spiritual gifts/talents and, thus, becoming a viable part of the church body and
(2) to provide opportunities to meet the congregation's needs to grow holistically and, thus, becoming mature disciples of Christ. Anyone may attend and participate in our Church Training Union Ministry.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH MINISTRY
The Lewis Chapel Baptist Church Children's Ministry serves infants and children crib age to and including grade 3. The Nursery and Children's Church Ministry meet each Sunday during the 11:00 a.m. worship service. The goal of the Children's Church Ministry is to reach children with the Word of God through the eyes of a child. Children nor their parents have to be a member of Lewis Chapel for the child(ren) to participate in this Ministry.

YOUTH MINISTRY
The Youth Ministry at Lewis Chapel is a church-wide ministry, which strives to provide a variety of opportunities and experiences to draw children into active, responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the church. The Youth Ministry is more than programs and events; it is every effort by our church family to reach out to the youth with the love of God as revealed to us in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. Children nor their parents have to be a member of Lewis Chapel for the child(ren) to participate in this Ministry.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY
The Women's Ministry brings Christian women together with a commitment to help each other grow stronger in body, mind and spirit. The success of the Women's Ministry depends upon dedicated women that form several teams that make up the Core Group.

SENIOR CITIZENS MINISTRY
The Senior Citizens' Ministry provides a rich experience of spiritual growth and fellowship for senior adults and other persons unable to attend the evening Prayer Service and Bible Study. The Senior Citizens' Ministry meets every Wednesday morning for prayer, Bible Study & lunch.

MUSIC MINISTRY
The purpose of the music ministry is to augment the worship service by providing music for worship that offers praise and honor to our Lord Jesus Christ and that edifies God. Our Music Ministry strives to provide artistic expressions of worship that draw others to Christ and to encourage them to seek a deeper walk with the Lord.

USHERS' MINISTRY
What a joy it is to be a servant in the house of the Lord. Jesus showed his disciples the importance of serving and helping others; and the Lewis Chapel Usher's Ministry follows this Holy example.  Our ushers range in age from youth to senior adults.  We stand ready at all three morning services.

DAUGHTERS OF ZION
Daughters of Zion is made up of women world wide.  The Daughters of Zion meet and pray for the children, church, and community.  These women are committed to the spiritual preservation of this generation; as well as spiritual restoration.  The Daughters of Zion Ministry has been with Lewis Chapel for several years now and continues to be a very helpful ministry for our church and community.

MISSIONARY AUXILIARY
The Missionary Auxiliary is an organization designed to provide a spiritual avenue of service for those who wish to use their talents and resources to magnify the Lord. This auxiliary focuses on spiritual growth through Bible study, support of world-wide missions, evangelism, benevolence and Christian fellowship. As the community and our neighbors stand in need we give aid and assistance as the Lord enables us to.

LAYMEN'S LEAGUE
The Lewis Chapel Laymen's League is comprised of the men of the church.  They come together to not only fellowship, but aid the community.  Every year the Laymen's League takes on projects such as building ramps onto houses for the elderly and handicapped.

FLORAL MINISTRY
The Floral Ministry helps with the beautification of Lewis Chapel.  Through our efforts we help bring color and life into the sanctuary. In times of bereavement we give flowers in hopes that this beauty can help in times grief.  God's world is full of beauty and we share this with our community.
